symmetry

bool symmetry = false

Symmetry. Should only be set for 2nd-order tensor blocked elements.

value_shape

template<std::floating_point T>

std::optional<std::vector<std::size_t> > value_shape = std::nullopt

Value shape of the blocked element, e.g. {3} for a vector or {2, 2} for a rank-2 tensor. Can only be set for a scalar element, and is unrelated to the geometric dimension of the mesh. std::nullopt for a non-blocked element.
